Melissa McClellan serves as the Communications Manager for Human Resources, overseeing all aspects of HR communications. Melissa is the HR Department Representative liaison and has responsibility for all related communications and training, including monthly HR Forums and Department Representative Meetings.
Melissa first joined the FSU HR team in September of 2002, where she provided assistance on special projects and managed a satellite HR office that supported staffing contracts. In August of 2017, Melissa returned to the FSU HR team in her current role after honing her skills in communications, change management, training, and project management at the University of Florida, Deloitte Consulting, and the FSU Alumni Association.
Melissa is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a Master of Science degree in English Education.
