Open Enrollment: October 11 – October 29

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to change your State of Florida insurance (health, dental, vision, etc.). Open Enrollment starts Monday, October 11, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. (ET) and will end on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. (ET).

You will receive an Open Enrollment informational packet from the Department of Management Services (DMS) via mail to your home address by mid-October. People First will also send communications using the preferred email address. Please thoroughly review all materials included in the packet and emails that you receive.

To ensure that you receive this information promptly, please verify your home and mailing address as well as your preferred email address in OMNI. Make any corrections needed through Employee Self-Service no later than Wednesday, September 22, 2021, to ensure the proper address is used for the informational packet.

Your People First User ID will be provided in your information packet. Use this ID to log in to the People First website to review your insurance benefits and make any changes. If you do not know your password, click the ‘forgot password’ link to reset it.

All changes made during Open Enrollment will go into effect on January 1, 2022. Deductions will begin with the December 3, 2021, paycheck. If you enroll or make changes to a Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account, those deductions will begin on the January 14, 2022, paycheck.

People First will notify OPS employees who are eligible for 2022 benefits of their eligibility via mail by mid-October.
