2024-2025 Graduate Assistant Stipend Increases

This message has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff, for distribution to all Deans, Directors, and Department Heads.
In accordance with Article 22, Stipends, of the Florida State University/Graduate Assistant United (GAU) Collective Bargaining Agreement, this is a reminder of the upcoming 2024-2025 graduate assistant stipend increases as outlined in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 Graduate Assistant Stipend Increases memorandum, dated September 12, 2023.
Please review the memorandum thoroughly for information regarding the stipend increases and information on 2024-2025 health insurance subsidies and fee relief.
Additionally, please refer to the deadlines related to the implementation of the stipend increases:
For the Competitive Pay Adjustment (effective September 13, 2024), no action is needed by the department/program to implement the stipend increases. Departments with questions or concerns regarding the increase due to lack of funding should contact Rebecca Peterson at rpeterson@fsu.edu by September 9, 2024.
For the Minimum Stipend Increase (effective September 27, 2024), no action is needed by the department/program to implement the stipend increase. Departments with questions or concerns regarding the increase due to lack of funding should contact Rebecca Peterson at rpeterson@fsu.edu by September 23, 2024.
