Since I arrived at Florida State University last August, I’ve been impressed by your hard work and dedication to the mission of this preeminent institution. The quality of service you provide to the campus community — and especially to our students — is unmatched. 
 
In recognition of your efforts, every annual leave-earning employee hired before June 30, 2022, will be awarded an extra day off to be used before June 30, 2023. 
 
I truly value your contributions to making FSU an outstanding place to learn and work, and this is a small token of appreciation for your professionalism and commitment to excellence. 
 
The Office of Human Resources will send an additional communication detailing the specifics regarding timekeeping, guidelines, and approval in the coming days. Please be on the lookout for those important details.
