Out-of-State Reporting

Department Representatives

The State of Florida is seeking information from the University about employees or volunteers working out of state for Workers’ Compensation reporting purposes.

If your department has any employees (Faculty, AEX, A&P, USPS, or OPS) with a primary office location outside of Florida during the 2022 fiscal year (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022), please provide the information requested in the Employee Information spreadsheet by 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2022, to hr-workerscomp@fsu.edu. We appreciate your cooperation with the quick turnaround for this information.

This includes employees with permanent or temporary out-of-state office locations (e.g., an employee currently telecommuting from out of state). The request does not apply to employees who merely travel to conferences or other business trips.
