Reminder: Open Enrollment Ends Friday
This message to all faculty, staff, and OPS has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.
In follow up to our previous communication, Open Enrollment is an annual opportunity to change your State of Florida insurance benefits, such as health, dental, vision, etc. Open Enrollment ends on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. (ET). Your 2022 open enrollment benefits statement can be viewed online with your People First account through the navigation: Insurance Benefits > Insurance Benefits Statement.
Additional open enrollment information, pre-recorded and live webinars, comparison charts, eligibility information, and plan documents are available on the State of Florida MyBenefits website.
Enrollment changes must be made through the People First website or by contacting the service center at (866) 663-4735. All changes made during Open Enrollment will go into effect on January 1, 2022. Deductions will begin with the December 3, 2021, paycheck. If you enroll or make changes to a Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account, those deductions will begin on the January 14, 2022, paycheck.
