Telework Resources and Hybrid Model Zoom

DDDH

This message has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff, for distribution to all Deans, Directors, and Department Heads.

As previously announced, the new Alternate Work Location Arrangement Pilot Program offers participating departments the opportunity to allow eligible, full-time employees to telework up to two days a week. To streamline the approval process at the department level, we have created an online Partial Telework Assessment and Request process. Additionally, we have created a guide to assist employees and managers in understanding and implementing an AWLA.

Partial Telework Request Process

We have created a streamlined process that makes submitting and reviewing Partial Telework Requests simple for employees and supervisors. The Partial Telework Request pulls eligibility information directly from OMNI. Additionally, employees will answer eligibility questions. Employees will not be able to move forward in the request process if the assessment details deem them ineligible. Once employees are eligible after the assessment, they may select their telework and on-site schedule before submitting for supervisor review. Supervisors may then review the information and determine whether to approve the request.  We encourage the use of this online application, which will be housed on the HR AWLA website, to facilitate departmental telework approvals.

FSU Guide to Alternate Work Location Agreements Training

The FSU Guide to Alternate Work Location Arrangements Training provides an overview of the AWLA Pilot Program, as well as suggestions for setting up a home office environment and additional guidance for supervisors. This training is a helpful resource, and we strongly encourage all participating departments to take it.
