This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.

We are pleased to announce the University is continuing the Tuition Scholarship Program for Dependents and Spouses as one of the many additional benefits available for qualified employees. Florida State University provides dependent children and spouses of full-time faculty and staff with a scholarship opportunity to obtain tuition assistance for an undergraduate or graduate education at FSU.

The Office of Human Resources is now accepting applications and will choose at random from a pool of applicants a limited number of eligible dependent children and spouses of qualified faculty and staff to be scholarship recipients for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Scholarship Offerings
For each eligible dependent child or spouse selected, the University will provide $630.42 for undergraduates and $2,421.06 for graduates towards the cost of the matriculation tuition fee for six (6) hours of tuition, per semester, for the 2024-2025 academic year. Unless sufficient funds are available, applications beginning in fall will be given priority. Please note, scholarship recipients are responsible for all other fees, including those related to books, supplies, building, capital improvement, student financial aid, activity and service, athletics, health, transportation, etc.

Eligibility
University employees are eligible to apply for the scholarship for their dependents or spouses if they are salaried faculty and staff (A&P, USPS, AEX) who have completed one year of full-time continuous service by August 6, 2024. To receive the scholarship, students must be enrolled in 15 hours for undergraduate and 9 hours for graduate and currently be in good academic standing.
