University Building C Resumes Operations
This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources/Finance & Administration Chief of Staff and Search Committee Chair for the Assistant Vice President for Public Safety.
Power has been restored to University Center Building C. In an abundance of caution, teams have been checking systems and infrastructure throughout the day to ensure the building is operational.
Previously scheduled activities, academic, and university operations will continue until 6:15 PM on Thursday, September 10. At that time, occupants must leave the building for repair crews to continue their work. The building will reopen at 5:00 AM on Friday, September 11.
Students and instructors scheduled to meet in the building after 6:15 PM on Thursday, September 10, will be contacted individually.
Employees should coordinate with their supervisors regarding work arrangements and any operational needs during this time.
Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation while the University worked to address the outage and minimize disruption to campus operations.
