Update: F-1/J-1 Immigration Change
This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Director, Communications/Training & Organizational Development, for distribution to all Department Representatives.
The new F-1 and J-1 regulations, which were set to take effect on September 15, 2026, are paused nationwide due to a preliminary injunction. No changes have taken effect.
The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) will monitor for future changes, and further communication will be sent if a change is agreed upon.
