Due to Hurricane Idalia and its possible impact on the region, Florida State University’s Tallahassee campuses will close and cancel classes beginning at 12 noon ET, Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023. Students are encouraged to utilize this time to make sure they are adequately prepared for the storm. Please stock up on necessities such as water and nonperishable foods in case a shelter-in-place order is issued.
