Last Chance for 2023 Voluntary 403(b) Changes

This message to all faculty, staff, and OPS employees has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.

Due to the accelerated payrolls for Winter Break, the last chance for employees to make changes to their Voluntary Retirement Plans impacting their final 2023 paychecks (December 15 and 29) will be at 5:00 pm on December 5, 2023. Any changes made after this time will be effective on the January 12, 2024, paycheck.

Employees are encouraged to review their financial end-of-year needs now to determine if any changes are needed to maximize retirement savings or meet their yearly goals.

Changes to both pre-tax and post-tax voluntary 403(b) accounts can be made using the Retirement@Work portal.

Changes to the State of Florida Deferred Compensation (457) account must be made through the deferred compensation website or by contacting their office. Please note that to decrease your 457 contributions, you must call 1-877-299-8002 to make changes.
