Human Resources, in partnership with ITS, will apply Critical Patch Updates (CPU) to the HR application (OMNI) on October 18, 2024. The updates will require a temporary system outage. CPU installation is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on October 18 and will conclude later that night. We anticipate the HR application will be available no later than Saturday, October 19. Following the updates, ITS recommends clearing your web browser cache before you log in.

Most of these security patches will not impact navigations or the user experience within the HR application; however, there are minor changes for users responsible for creating job openings. These changes will enhance the user experience.

When creating new job openings, users will click “Edit Posting Description” to add text to a posting description or edit a Template description.

A pop-up text box with an editor tool will display for text entry.
