2025 Benefits Fair & Open Enrollment
This message to faculty, staff, and OPS employees has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.
Benefits & Wellness Fair: October 14, 2025
We are excited to announce that the annual Benefits & Wellness Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Florida State University Student Union. The fair is hosted to provide an opportunity to learn more about the benefits available to employees, connect with community and campus organizations, receive wellness information, and much more! Attendance is encouraged and is considered time worked for employees with supervisor approval.
Open Enrollment: October 13 – October 31
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to change your State of Florida insurance (health, dental, vision, etc.). Open Enrollment starts Monday, October 13, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. (ET) and will end on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (ET). The FSU HR Benefits Office encourages all employees to review their benefits during Open Enrollment to ensure their enrollments meet their needs.
By mid-October, you will receive an Open Enrollment informational packet from the Department of Management Services (DMS) sent to the mailing address in OMNI HR. Please thoroughly review all materials you receive.
To receive this information promptly, please verify your mailing and email addresses in OMNI. Make any corrections needed as soon as possible to confirm the proper address is used for the informational packet.
Your People First User ID will be provided in your information packet. Use this ID to log in to the People First website to review your insurance benefits and make any changes. If you do not know your password, click the ‘forgot password’ link to reset it.
People First will notify OPS employees currently eligible for 2026 benefits of their eligibility by mid-October.
More information regarding the 2025 Open Enrollment for the 2026 Plan Year will be posted on the Human Resources Benefits website as it becomes available.
