Postdoctoral Scholar Paid Parental Leave
This message has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff, for distribution to all Deans, Directors, and Department Heads.
The Office of Human Resources has implemented a new paid parental leave program for Postdoctoral Scholars effective January 1, 2026. This new benefit will provide Postdoctoral Scholars, who have been employed by FSU for at least six months, with up to six weeks of paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Please take a moment to review the policy, Paid Parental Leave for Postdoctoral Scholars.
Postdoctoral Scholars interested in participating in this new leave benefit may submit a completed and approved Agreement form before the anticipated leave dates.
