Emotional Intelligence at Work

Please join us on August 12, 2026, for a leadership workshop offered by Ahli Moore, Emotional Intelligence at Work. This highly interactive leadership development experience is designed to help faculty and staff strengthen their ability to understand, manage, and leverage emotions constructively.
Grounded in contemporary research and workplace best practices, this session explores how emotional intelligence influences communication, collaboration, conflict management, leadership effectiveness, and organizational culture.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will examine their own emotional tendencies, learn practical strategies for increasing self-awareness and relationship effectiveness, and explore how emotionally intelligent environments foster trust, engagement, and innovation.
- Through self-assessments, peer discussions, case studies, reflection exercises, and applied workplace scenarios, participants will leave with actionable tools they can immediately implement across their teams and campus environments.
Facilitator
This course is facilitated by FSU Alumnus Ahli Moore, CEO and Founder of X-Factor Solutions. With over 30 years of experience in organizational change management, leadership development, and training, Mr. Moore is an excellent resource with a breadth of knowledge.
