2026 Open Enrollment

State Open Enrollment: October 12 – October 30
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to change your State of Florida insurance (health, dental, vision, etc.). Open Enrollment starts Monday, October 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. (ET) and will end on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (ET). The FSU HR Benefits Office encourages all employees to review their benefits during open enrollment to ensure their enrollments meet their needs.
Employees will receive an Open Enrollment information packet from the Department of Management Services (DMS) at the mailing address on file. Please thoroughly review all materials you receive.
Your People First User ID will be included in your information packet. Use this ID to log in to the People First website to review your insurance benefits and make any changes. If you do not know your password, select the "Forgot Password" option on the People First website to reset it.
People First has implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA). Employees who need assistance may refer to the People First MFA job aid.
People First will notify OPS employees currently eligible for 2027 benefits of their eligibility by mid-October. OPS employees who were previously eligible but are not eligible for 2027 benefits will receive a COBRA packet by mail in November.

Gabor Financial Solutions is hosting a Long-Term Disability and Group Whole Life open enrollment from October 5, 2026, through December 4, 2026.
