This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.

As a government contractor, Florida State University is subject to Executive Order 11246, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 503), and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Act of 1974 (VEVRAA). The summarized information is reported to the federal government for civil rights enforcement and monitoring purposes. 

Submission of this information is voluntary and declining to provide it will not subject you to any adverse treatment. The information will be kept confidential and may only be used in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws, executive orders, and regulations, including those that require the information to be summarized and reported to the federal government. When reported, data will not identify any specific individual.
