Panel Discussion: Mental Health in the Workplace

Department Representatives

This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Program Director, Communications/Special Projects, for distribution to all Department Representatives.

In observation of Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Office (EDI) in Human Resources, invites you to a panel discussion on Mental Health in the Workplace. Mental illnesses/disorders are designated as disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). An estimated 50% of all Americans have been diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetime. In the United States,  adults are reporting considerably elevated adverse mental health conditions related to COVID-19 (CDC), making this a very timely discussion.
