The Office of Training & Organizational Development continues to offer a Weekly Spotlight that highlights resources to support employees’ professional and personal growth while working in a remote environment. Each week a new theme is showcased that focuses on general professional development, leadership, technology, and health and happiness. Previous Spotlight information is still accessible on the Virtual Training Resources website.
Upcoming Themes
May 4 (Week 6): Taking Care of Yourself & Others - The COVID-19 pandemic can feel overwhelming due to new information, remote working, and caring for yourself and others. This week includes resources to help make yourself, others, and your organization stronger, including Kognito’s mental health awareness training for faculty and staff.
May 11 (Week 7): Virtual Inclusiveness - Join Michelle Douglas, Director of FSU Human Resources’ Organizational Development and Equal Opportunity Compliance, as she presents a live workshop on Embracing Diversity: Cultivating Respect, Diversity & Inclusion on May 12. Additional resources and learning opportunities for supporting a strong sense of belonging and inclusion in the virtual workplace will be spotlighted in Week 7.
