For candidates who are domiciled in, or have other specified connections with, foreign countries of concern (China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Venezuela), additional review and approval may be required. The department should create a RAMP Export Control request as soon as possible for viable candidates who may fall into this category so that appropriate personnel can determine whether additional review is needed.
